Every three years since 1981, Toulouse les Orgues has been organising the Toulouse International Organ Competition! We are delighted to announce that applications for the Competition will open on the 1st of February 2024!
Organists under the age of 30 are strongly encouraged to take part!
As in 2021, the Competition will take place in 4 stages:
- Online applications between 1 February and 7 April 2024.
- Pre-selection on registration in May 2024: a maximum of 12 candidates will be selected for the semi-final, to be held in Toulouse in October 2024.
- Public semi-finals in Toulouse on 1 and 2 October 2024: a maximum of 6 candidates will be selected for the final.
- A public final on 4 and 5 October 2024, as part of the 29th Toulouse les Orgues International Organ Festival, where the 3 winners of the Toulouse 2024 International Organ Competition will be selected.
This year's jury: Vincent Bernhardt (France/Germany), Michel Bouvard (France), Cindy Castillo (Belgium), Isabelle Demers (Canada), Jan Willem Jansen (France), Martin Schmeding (Germany) and Yuan Shen (China).
