Josef Laming (GB)

The competition for the 21st Paul Hofhaimer Prize has been decided: after several rounds in which participants from around the world brought the historic organs of Innsbruck to life, 29-year-old organist Josef Laming triumphed in the final round on Thursday, September 4. He impressed the expert jury and won the highly respected Paul Hofhaimer Prize, one of the most prestigious awards in the international organ world.

This year, two second prizes were also awarded: Nadal Roig i Serralta and Giulia Ricci were both honored for their outstanding organ playing.
